Weekly Update Jan.9- Jan.15

I really dont have much to say this week. I started off good up about 1.2K and then it just all went south. My play continued to be solid but it was sick how I was running. Nothing else I really have to say about this week. I hope to use the rest of sunday to cool my head and turn things around next week.

Weekly Review Jan.2-Jan.8

Here's my first post of 2012. The weeks has had tons of ups and downs. Such is the life of a poker player but I think I managed to play through most of the bad to have a profitable week. Of course it could have been a lot better but a profitable is nothing to look down at. I have been playing way more 6Max Super Turbos than I anticipated but they have been good for rake. My play in 6Max Turbos has been solid and I would have better numbers if it wasnt for some tough luck, especially on the bubble. Some things i found in my review were good. I am playing all my big hands very well with the exception of one hand. I grossly overplayed QQ on a 542 rainbow board when I was sure he flopped a set. My push/fold game seems to be very solid although I have a few spots were I dont trust my range. I need to just let it fly and trust in myself. Now on the bad side, I have missed tons of continuation bets that I should be making and because of it I am finding myself in tough spots. I will correct that and I will see my numbers grow. I also need to figure out what I am doing wrong HU. I am losing tons of money by taking so many 2nds. I have not found the problem of yet but hopefully I will find that leak and be able to plug it ASAP. All in all the I am happy with my play this week and hope to possibly triple my profit next week. Now im off to to watch the NFL playoffs and play in the Lock Poker 10K monthly VIP Freeroll and the 100K Guarnteed. Wish me luck!
